Rideau Arcott

One of the biggest factors in a successful sheep operation is lambing percentage. Rideau Arcotts are a very prolific breed, where triplets and quads are very common. As a breed they consistently lamb out at 250% or higher. They have great maternal instincts and are typically very good milkers. We find that they are a little more hands on than Clun Forest but when they give triplets and quads it is well worth the extra work.
